Riley's YMCA Outing

Riley had her first outing to the YMCA this Saturday.

I tried to get her to potty before we went inside, but she didn't have to go.

We sat around the main entrance where we had one "drive-by" pettings, (People who pet the dog without asking or stopping as they walk by).

We spent most of your time hanging around the Teen Room. It was loud and echo-y. Lately Riley's been a bit "sound-sensitive" so this was a great opportunity to pair them with good things "treats!" and practice relaxing.


We had a large crowd of children hanging around, which was also great. Riley loved the attention and wasn't fazed by the strokes, ear and paw fondling, and hugs.








As soon as we were out the door of the YMCA, she crouched not 3-feet from the entrance and pooped! She's really becoming more and more reliably housetrained. I'm not happy that she went on the sidewalk, but the main thing is she held it until she was outside.

Lately I haven't had much to say except share photo's of Riley's outings. Oh well. I hope to tomorrow I will get some photos of Dozer during the 4-H meeting to make a post about.
